Tis the Season to Love Boobies

As I’m sure you all know, October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. I won’t go into all of the breast cancer facts (you can see some here), but will say this– chances are, breast cancer has affected someone important in your life. Take the time to do your monthly self-breast exams, and remember to get your yearly mammogram. If you’re feeling in the giving spirit, American Cancer Society and Susan B Komen are some great organizations to donate money towards breast cancer research. Continue reading

It had been too long since our last house project, so we spent this past weekend shopping at Lowe’s, painting, sanding, cleaning, shopping some more, and decorating. Simple, Satisfying Organization

Massive organization projects like redoing a pantry, bedroom or office closet may seem overwhelming and impossible. Not having the time for a weekend long project, however, doesn’t mean that you can’t have a tidy, organized house. I was frustrated this past week when it took me over an hour to locate the charging cord for my computer.. and this made me realize that I had gotten out of the habit of keeping an organized house during the chaos of summer.
